I was born and raised in Cairo Egypt where I finished high school and obtained my undergraduate degree in Engineering. In my early 20’s I moved to the USA and continued my graduate studies in engineering at Columbia University. This was followed by a 32 year career in the oil and gas industry during which my family and I were based in Houston, TX. Many foreign assignments and extended stays overseas allowed me the opportunity to travel all over the world. In 2015 I retired from my job and I currently split my retirement between Houston and Paris, France. Between 2007 and 2015 I was a resident member of the Archway Gallery in Houston, TX. Since 2017, I am represented by the Foto Relevance Gallery in Houston, TX. Throughout the years my work was selected in numerous competitions and I had 7 photographs published by National Geographic online.
