Dharmesh Patel is an artist, architect and an engineer. He graduated from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City and has a Master’s Degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art where he was awarded the Daimler Chrysler Emerging Artist Award. In 2010, he co-founded Animalis, an environmental art studio practice based in Austin, TX with his partner, Autumn Ewalt. Animalis has exhibited throughout Austin and has completed a street scape project with the City of Austin, City of Fort Worth and the State of New York among others. He has served on the Art In Public Places panel for the City of Austin, and has a studio practice at the intersection of art and technology.
