Susie Rosmarin was born in Brownsville, Texas in 1950 and studied at the University of St. Thomas in Houston and the Pratt Institute of Brooklyn, New York. She lives and works in Houston. She has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions since 1974. Her works were the subject of a survey exhibition at The Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston in 2016. More recently, in 2020 she was included in "Texas Women: A New History of Abstract Art" at the San Antonio Museum of Art. Her works are in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Dallas Museum of Art, The San Antonio Museum of Art and the McNay Museum in San Antonio as well as the Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo, New York. She is represented in Houston by Texas Gallery.
