Robert Ruello, born 1958, New Orleans, LA, received a BA in Psychology from Loyola University, a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and an MFA from Columbia University, NY. From 1987- 89 he was an artist in residence a t the Core Program, Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. His recent exhibitions include solo shows at Galveston Artist Residency; Lone Star College; Texas & AM University; and Inman Gallery. He also participated in the group exhibitions Map ping Galveston Galveston Artist Residency, and In Plain Sight McClain Gallery, Houston. Ruello was the recipient of a Gottlieb Foundation Grant and a Dora Maar Residency Fellowship. He lives and works in Houston, TX.
