Robyn Arouty was born and raised in New York, then moved with her family to Houston Texas in her early teens. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with her undergraduate degree in Communications, then went on to obtain her Masters in Psychology at Our Lady of the Lake University, and worked as a psychotherapist in private practice for several years. What began as a love for animals and a passion for photography, later evolved into an exciting career, and she has been capturing people and their pets for over 10 years now.
