Marion Price Hodges, Jr. (1929 - 1997) A local and regional Texas painter. Lived in the Houston Heights Neighborhood in the 1940s, and was later drafted to the war. Painted several narrative-style portraits of Texas regional heroes such as Sam Houston and Jane Long, "The Mother of Texas." Not much is known about the proliferation of work by this artist.
