Michael H. (Mike) Marvins is a fourth generation photographer born and
raised in Houston Texas. After forty years as a nationally and internationally
known, award winning portrait photographer, author and photo historian,
Mike turned his talents to capturing the heart, soul and essence of the
State of Texas with beautiful imagery. With photographs in the collections of
major museums, homes and businesses, Marvins has authored two best
selling art books featuring iconic images captured all over the State. All of
Marvins’ book royalties from Texas Big Bend ;A Photographic Adventure
and The Texas Hill Country; A Photographic Adventure benefit State and
National Parks. Mike and his wife, Mickey divide their time between
Houston and Ingram, Texas.
